install firmware failed,LOG.txt is empty

console model CECH2501A    firmfare 4.20,
i got the correct dump and one key downgrade successfully. got into to FSM NOW.
BUT THE FINAL STEP INSTALL FRMWARE  FILED!
I used Lv2diag.self (365.5 KB)  374272  3.55 get in FSM md5:099F33A7967F99E91C07E870FD78B3DB
AND Lv2diag.self (227.38 KB)  232832  jaicrab noBD patched MD5: 3615770407C0C3FA00D8CA49C8ADB362
the PUP I use is Regero_3.4 and Regero_3.6.
I opened the USB drive and  check the UPDATER_LOG.TXT found its empty,size 0KB
anyone can help me?

you need this one: Lv2diag.self (365.5 KB)  374272  3.55 get in FSM md5:099F33A7967F99E91C07E870FD78B3DB
and the firmware renamed to "PS3UPDAT.PUP"
you need to put them both on the root of your usb stick

the PUP you said is which one?the PS3UPDAT.PUP from E3 downgrade_ file.rar is not wrking .
.i downloaded regero_3.4 and regero_3.6 ,renamed PS3UPDAT.PUP,but not working too

sounds like your not actually in service mode... or using the WRONG lv2diag

im  sure its FSM now, console power off automatic after power on 10sec. and get out of FSM console said put into cotrouller and push PS button.
  and the Lv2diag  from E3 downgrade_ file.rar  is not working too.

today i removed hdd and try to downgrade,JaiCraB_LOG.TXT  is not empty.its said no hdd found.

why do you use the jaicrab one?
